zoe gustavia anna whalen is an artist and fashion designer currently based in new york city. with deadstock and vintage fabric, found linens, discarded bedsheets, reclaimed wood, porcelain, silver and paper mache, she crafts sculptural entities that speak to the body. each garment is slow crafted and sewn with intention in her brooklyn studio.
after starting her eponymous label in 2022, zoe continues to release seasonal collections off calendar during new york fashion week. her work has been recognized by major publications such as vogue, purple, high snobiety, dazed, cultured, the cut, the new york times, and more.
her historically informed silhouettes propose a new future; a way of relating to one another, our objects and ourselves, with gentleness, grace and beauty.
